INTERAKSI MANUSIA DENGAN KOMPUTER (IMK)

Interaksi Manusia dengan Komputer atau (IMK) adalah sebuah hubungan antara manusia dan komputer yang mempunyai karakteristik tertentu, untuk mencapai suatu tujuan tertentu, dengan menjalankan sebuah sistem yang bergambar sebuah antarmuka (interface). Tujuan utama disusunnya ini, cara untuk mempermudah kita sebagai manusia dalam mengoperasikan komputer dan mendapatkan berbagai umpan balik yang kita perlukan selama kita bekerja pada sebuah sistem, terutama Sistem Komputer.


Interaksi Manusia dengan komputer juga terdapat pada beberapa bidang ilmu seperti contohnya pada Teknik Elektronika pada Ilmu Komputer. Teknik Elektronika menyediakan teknologi kerangka kerja untuk desain sistem manusia komputer. Ilmu ini merupakan bidang utama dalam kerangka perancangan suatu sistem interaksi mausia-komputer. Ilmu komputer adalah studi sistematik tentang proses algoritma yang menjelaskan dan menjadikan sebuah informasi, baik itu berhubungan dengan teori-teori, analisis, desain, efisiensi, implementasi, ataupun aplikasi-aplikasi yang ada Teknik Elektronika tersebut.  Bidang ini berperan memberikan kerangka kerja untuk dapat merancang sistem seperti human-computer interaction (HCI).

Interaksi Manusia dengan Komputer dapat juga diaplikasikan di bidang-bidang Operation Visibility, Immediate, Guessability Affordance, Sistem atau user primitiveness, Concurrent versus interleaving multimodality, Representasi perkalian, kesamaan kesempatan (opportunity) dan Adaptivitas, Adaptabilitas.

Pendayagunaan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa sifat, yaitu sebagai berikut :

1. Learnability : Kemudahan yang memungkinkan user baru berinteraksi secara efektif dan dapat mencapai performance yang maksimal.

2. Flexibility : Menyediakan banyak cara bagi user dan sistem untuk bertukar informasi.

3. Robustness : Tingkat dukungan yang diberikan agar user dapat menentukan keberhasilan ataupun tujuan (goal) yang diinginkan.
